As the Head teacher of Wesley Methodist Primary School it is a real pleasure and privilege to welcome you to our school website. Wesley is a place of learning, high expectations and enjoyment. We pride ourselves on our strong commitment to follow in the words of John Wesley and 'Do all we can' ensuring that every child has every opportunity to experience a creative, immersive and inclusive curriculum. This results in good academic progress and attainment as well as a strong sense of community which extends beyond the school gates to all: locally, nationally and world-wide.

Wesley is situated in Radcliffe, Bury. As a school we have many strengths and our fantastic, dedicated team of talented and caring staff are passionate that the school flourishes through valuing every child and encouraging them all to develop socially, emotionally, academically and physically to achieve their full potential in every aspect of life. One of our promises as a school, that we make to all parents, is that we will do all we can to ensure your child is a fluent reader by the age of seven, and for any children who have been unable to achieve this, we will put all measures in place to support them.

We aim for all of our children to leave Wesley as life- long learners who have academic skills and emotional resilience to take on any challenges that they may encounter, this is all shown through our vision:
