Funded Childcare and Additional Charges

Our Nursery setting is part of the 30 hours free childcare scheme. This is a Government led programme that offers working parents an additional 15 hours of free childcare above the current universal 15 hours. See the link and document below for eligibility and other childcare options. Best Start in Life - Best Start in Life

We provide 15 and 30 hours per week funded early years education for 2, 3 and 4 year-olds.
15 hours of free childcare covers 5 sessions. These are offered as morning or afternoons:

Morning session: 8.45am - 11:45am Mon to Fri
Afternoon session: 12:30 -3.30pm Mon to FRi

30 hours of free childcare covers full time: 8.45am-3.30pm. (We don't currently charge for the additional 45 mins per day).

If your child is staying for the full day they can have a school dinner which costs an additional £2.90 per day. However, you are welcome to send in a healthy packed lunch if you prefer.

Milk and a fruit snack will be made available during the morning session, and we ask for a £1 voluntary donation each week to provide further snacks.

If you wish to extend the day of your 3-4 year old by using our Out of Hours club, please contact Bubbles – our privately run before and after school club - Wesley Methodist Primary School - Bubbles Information
