Wesley Wellbeing Day

In acknowledgment of the importance of our children understanding and developing strategies to support their mental health and wellbeing we have a dedicated day each term to focus solely on wellbeing. Although our curriculum is designed to give our children plenty of opportunities to express and show an understanding of their mental health and wellbeing through PSHE, forest school, RE, pastoral care and many more elements of our curriculum, we felt it was important to have a specific day each term to focus on this for the children. Throughout the day our children are exposed to new strategies and experiences to support them with their wellbeing.

Spring term wellbeing day:

This Spring term we had a range of activities taking place for our wellbeing day. We had druhm in to work with every class within school, so they could express themselves and then the children completed a range of activities from; yoga, drawing, story time, planting and even making smores in forest school.
